EYFS 6 weeks in meeting presentation

(0)
A powerpoint presentation to use to present to parents about the Reception year after their first 6 weeks in school … known as the 6 weeks in meeting. Powerpoint presentation is a guide and can be edited to suit the needs of your school. This is a great way to communicate to parents about how the children have settled into school life so far, thank them for their support, and to discuss what the Reception year is all about. It will also cover expectations such as homework, what to bring and positive communication. This can then be shared and forwarded on to parents after. Holding a 6 weeks in meeting is a great way to get parents involved and by holding it at 6 weeks, you will have gotten to know the children more and hopefully they will have settled in… perfect time!

EYFS Reception Weekly Timetable

My weekly timetable for an EYFS Reception class. This maps out the week and shows when inputs will be taught covering each area of learning. We have 2 Literacy sessions a week, 2 Maths sessions, 1 PE, 1 RE, 1 PSHE/RSHE/PSED, 1 UTW and 1 EAD session. We also have daily phonics. On days where maths is not taught as a carpet session, we use Numberblocks so children still have some maths input each day.

EYFS presentation to Subject Leaders

(0)
A presentation to explain to subject leaders what the EYFS is about. The presentation explains the framework and how curriculums are formed from this. It highlights why play is so important and how we teach children through play and exploration. It also explains how we gather evidence and how this differs from other year groups. The presentation can be adapted to suit your setting.
